LEARN HOW TO CREATE REAL CHANGE

A new kind of human rights education is here

Welcome to Everyday Human Rights

We are an independent, non-political human rights educational consultancy in Australia passionate about teaching leaders and advocates how to achieve better outcomes for young people and their communities, every day, through our unique, straightforward solutions based on real-world experience and results.

Our clients include schools, community service organisations, advocacy groups and government to improve outcomes for our communities.

The Challenge Before Us

Across Australia, too many young people are falling through the gaps in our support systems. Research shows that vulnerable young people often face a complex web of challenges—from disconnection from family and culture, to educational disengagement, housing instability, and awareness of their rights and access to the crucial services intended to help them.

Additional funding of services that prioritise the most at-risk would always be welcome, but in the meantime, more than ever, the path forward requires all of us working together— schools, communities, government and services. Every setting where young people live, learn and grow has a role to play.

Now more than ever, the future of young people depends on building capacity, sharing knowledge, and ensuring that every young person - whatever their background - has access to the support, connection, and opportunities they need to thrive in their communities.

To enable this, we deliver human rights education for capacity-building across systems. Our practical, solutions-driven approach empowers individuals, authorities and communities to understand the international frameworks that can support long-term community safety and systemic change from the top-down and the ground up.

At Everyday Human Rights we are committed to transforming the lives of young people at risk of being involved in the youth justice system through human rights advocacy, education, and collaborative action. We believe that meaningful change doesn't have to wait for sweeping policy reforms—it starts with small, intentional steps that respect the dignity and rights of every young person, their families and networks.

The facilitators are amazing, and the biggest takeaway from the workshop was that they provoked new thinking about every decision my team and I make. My conversations with staff have changed as I now have an awareness of the relevance of human rights at every level.

During the workshop I became aware that we can all contribute to realisation of human rights particularly for the marginalised and/or economically excluded members in our
